If you doubt going…don’t! Just do it and breathe in the beauty with all your senses. I heard one young boy tell his grandparents that they needed to take the secret passageway into the oak tree canopy. HIGHLY recommend to solo travelers, couples and families. I knew I would enjoy a park but had no idea I would enjoy it this much. At one point I turned the corner into a fairytale and uttered out loud “I can’t even” and laughed to myself as I was so overwhelmed with the abundance of beauty and tranquility. The rose garden outdoor house was spectacular and in full bloom. Felt extremely safe as a solo walker and spent 3 full hours taking in all the splendor. Found benches to rest and lay on along the way. Especially enjoyed the small lake with water swooping barn sparrows and dragonflies. The terraces are set up with beautiful visitas for relaxing after a short hike up. Water features, singing birds, butterflies & bees doing their thing in a little slice of the garden of Eden. The grounds were impeccably kept with so many surprise details in each beautifully designed space. Found delightful surprises around every turn.
